Right in the heart of the capital city of Oaxaca sits the Jardín Ethnobotánico with over five acres of structural succulents. On our last trip, we spent hours wandering through these cactus mazes – just soaking in all the natural beauty. Dallas-based photographer and cinematographer, Andrew Shepherd, shot this while on our trek across Mexico. Known for his documentary-style work, Andrew has a storyteller’s eye, capturing the everyday moments that may otherwise go unnoticed. More about Andrew Shepherd here. This little guy was designed to complement our Palermo Tripolina Chair. The triangular cover is made of thick 100% Argentinian polo saddle leather that, like a fine wine, ages beautifully. All hand-dyed and stitched in a small workshop in Buenos Aires. The supporting frame is hand-carved from high quality guindo wood, a lightweight but incredibly durable timber, and assembled with brass hardware. It folds up into a matchstick profile, making it great to take on adventures or move around as an extra seat in small apartments. Our Palermo Tripolina Chair's cover is made of thick 100% Argentinian vegetable-tanned polo saddle leather that, like a fine wine, ages beautifully. All hand-dyed and stitched in a small workshop in Buenos Aires. The supporting frame is hand-carved from high quality guindo wood, a lightweight but incredibly durable timber, and assembled with iron hardware.
