Description
The art of indigo dyeing is a time-honored craft in Japan, and this accent pillow perfectly blends tradition with modern sensibility. Dip-dyed over four times to achieve the saturated indigo hue, the minimal block pattern lets the rich color to take center stage.
Hand-dyed from all-natural indigo plants using the Ita Jima (with wood plates) style by Chiharu, a master dyer in Oki City, each pillow takes a day to complete. Made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.
Note: Since this is a handcrafted item, each pillow is one-of-a-kind – expect variation in hues and patterns.
This pillow comes ready to style. Cruelty-free down alternative insert included.
